The Youth Theatre "Tochka Opory" was created in 2004. The initiators of the student association were students of Volgograd State University. The theater started its creative activity under the guidance of professional director Elena Kryukova, earned its first awards, gained its individuality and won the love of the audience. Since its foundation, the theatre has managed to show a large number of works loved by spectators. Since 2012, Boris Estrin has become the artistic director. In 2015 he was replaced by Elena Topolaga - Honored Artist of Russia, owner of the Medal of the Order of "Merit for the Motherland of the II degree". 

The "Tochka Opory" has gained popularity and regularly performs at major university events.
