                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Volgograd State University has been trained academic staff since 1983.

Nowadays, VolSU has more than 200 doctoral candidates, including external ones, and postgraduates. There are 15 scientific specialty for doctoral candidates (given external ones) and 17 study areas for academic staff training. The academic advising is carried out by more than 100 doctors and candidates of science.

  • There are following legal basis of the Postgraduate Education Department’s activity:

  • legislative and regulatory acts of the Russian Federation;

  • federal law from December 29, 2012 No 273 "On education in the Russian Federation";

  • VolSU Charter;

  • Regulation on the organization and implementation of academic activity at VolSU in the programmes of academic staff training at postgraduate level of education.
