Despite high competition, Volgograd State University continues to hold its position in the authoritative ranking. In 2025, VolSU is ranked 86th, which confirms its status as one of the most reputable universities in the country.
The inclusion of VolSU in the top hundred universities in Russia along with federal and capital universities indicates its consistently high level of student training, a strong faculty and active research.
The ranking evaluates universities according to three groups of indicators: conditions for obtaining a quality education, the level of demand for graduates by employers and the level of research. The analysis includes statistical indicators data, as well as the results of surveys of over 150,000 respondents: academia and science representatives, students, graduates and employers.
