National Unity Day is a holiday of patriotism and love for the Motherland, which is associated with fateful historical events that determined the future fate of Russia as a powerful multinational state. Today Russia is one of the largest states in the world, a country with the richest cultural and spiritual traditions, enormous potential and powerful resources. We are building together a civil society, developing and strengthening the economic and spiritual strength of the region and the country. We are all different in culture, language, religion, thinking, origin, but we are all united by respect for the past, present, future of our Motherland, love for our native language and native land.

Volgograd State University has talented professors and specialists, energetic and motivated students, who will become highly qualified specialists and will make a significant contribution to the prosperity of Russia. Our graduate students are a new generation of scientists who can tackle the most difficult tasks and challenges.
