VolSU on the pages of a prestigious British magazine
Volgograd State University is known far beyond the borders of our country: the articles about developments of VolSU scientists are regularly published in the prestigious British magazine ‘QS Global Education News (QS GEN)’. The fifth issue of ‘QS GEN’ includes an article about the development of scientists of the Institute of Priority Technologies under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Irina Zaporotskova.
VolSU scientists have invented a new composition of a human muscle tissues compound-simulator also known as ballistic gelatin. The invention is used in forensics and medicine to assess the properties of small arms, cold and throwing weapons.
The new issue of ‘QS-GEN’ includes publications of only five Russian universities: St. Petersburg Mining University, Volgograd State University, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University, Moscow Aviation Institute.
"QS GEN" is issued by the world's largest rating agency "Quacquarelli Symonds", which is highly respected among the world academic community. The magazine includes articles about outstanding achievements, awards, experience, innovations and developments of universities from around the world.
