kniga-2021-158.jpgActivist of the "Proryv" volunteer center, VolSU student Azizkhon Mavlonazarov received the "Hot Heart" medal by the decision of the All-Russian Public-State Initiative for targeted assistance during the coronavirus pandemic as part of the #MyVmeste campaign (RU: #МыВместе).

VolSU student’s history is included in the Honorary Award Book.

The All-Russian aid campaign began shortly after the coronavirus pandemic outbreak. In the framework of this campaign interested people provide the aid to those who need it. Mr. Mavlonazarov studied at Volgograd State University and lived in a dormitory when the pandemic started. His parents who lived in Tajikistan were worried about their son and reminded him about the importance of preventive measures. However, Azizkhon could not stay away and decided to help. The student delivered food and medicines to elderly people who were in self-isolation. The parents learned about this responsible civil decision of their son only when they saw the "For selfless contribution to the All-Russian aid campaign #MyVmeste organization" medal. The parents said that it was a great pride for them to know that their son helped people in Russia and received the letter of recognition signed by the Russian President Mr. Vladimir Putin.

VolSU student Azizhon has been a volunteer for two years and plans to continue helping people as well as to link hisгорячее сердце1.jpg future with volunteer activities after graduation from university.

The All-Russian aid campaign #MyVmeste is aimed at supporting elderly, disabled citizens and medical staff during the coronavirus pandemic. More than 83 thousand volunteers in all regions of Russia helped in the delivery of medicines and food. Five students of Volgograd State University, including Azizkhon and a graduate of the university, were awarded the #MyVmeste commemorative medal on behalf of the Russian President.
