Preventing COVID-19 in summer

Preventing COVID-19 in summer.jpgAccording to Rospotrebnadzor, with the appearance of new subvariants of the SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant in Russia, the risks of COVID-19 infection in the summer period increase.
In this regard, it is recommended to follow simple precautions to reduce the risks of contracting other respiratory diseases, including the flu.
If you are feeling unwell, avoid contact with others, even if you tested negative for COVID-19. If you get sick, please stay at home, take care of yourself and others.
Make sure to seek medical help, do not self-medicate. If the symptoms are worsening, immediately call a doctor and follow his recommendations. Please take medications only as prescribed by your doctor.
Ventilate the room regularly (preferably as often as possible). The most effective way to ventilate is cross ventilation, when opposite windows are open at the same time. Constantly ajar windows do not allow for the necessary air exchange.
You can protect yourself from severe course of illness by vaccination. It is recommended to vaccinate against COVID-19 every six months to maintain the necessary level of immunity.
Don’t forget to wash your hands with soap often and wear a mask in crowded places, especially if you have chronic diseases.
