VolSU improved its position in QS EECA
The British ranking agency Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) announced the results of the annual QS University Ranking: Emerging Europe and Central Asia 2021 (EECA). Volgograd State University improved its position compared to last year (251-300) and entered the group 231-240, together with such universities as the Russian State Social University, Moscow State Linguistic University, Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics and others. VolSU achieved the highest results in the following indicators: Staff with PhD, Academic Reputation and WEB Impact. VolSU participates in this prestigious international ranking for the sixth year in a row. QS specialists analyzed 400 European and Central Asian universities in total, given 121 Russian ones. The top three in the overall ranking are Lomonosov Moscow State University, the University of Tartu (Estonia) and St. Petersburg State University. QS rankings are among the most influential in the world. The QS EECA was first published in 2014. EECA evaluates universities according to ten indicators: Academic Reputation, Employer Reputation, Faculty Student, Staff with PhD, Citations per Paper, Papers per Faculty, International Research Network, International Faculty, International Students and WEB Impact.
