Vladislav Balashov, student of Volgograd State University, became one of the winners of the EurAsia Cup in powerlifting and strength sports. Vladislav participated in the triathlon discipline for the first time in his sports career. He exceeded the standard of the 1^st senior category with a result of 422.5 kg and took the first place.

The Department of Physical Education and Health Technologies of VolSU sincerely congratulates Vladislav and his coach, senior teacher Mr. Sergey Nikitin, on this achievement. In December, Vladislav is going to take part in the World Powerlifting and Strength Sports Championships in Moscow.
