TeleNovo Engineering Center on the Chinese Exhibition

Within the Week of Russian Science and Technology in China, the Chinese International Online Exhibition for the Exchange of Professionals (CIEP) was held where the Russian Federation was as a special guest. Our University was represented by Mr. Yurii Moiseev, the director of the TeleNovo Engineering Center of VolSU.

During the online exhibition, participants presented their scientific and technical projects in the field of advanced manufacturing technologies, medicine, biomedical technologies, high-tech healthcare, as well as exchange programs for future professionals. Also, a Chinese-Russian conference on scientific and technological innovation cooperation in the field of new materials was held.

Director of the TeleNovo Engineering Center Yurii Moiseev participated in the session of scientific and technical projects in the field of advanced production technologies and presented two projects: "Additive manufacturing of dental structures and medical devices by selective laser melting (SLM)" and "Development of a dispersed medium for detecting traces of hands exposed to moisture". The proposed developments were the subject of a lively discussion, which confirms the special interest of the Chinese side in Russian projects.

VolSU representatives are planning to take part in B2B online meetings. These meetings will be organized in November as part of the China Hi-Tech Fair, the largest science and technology exhibition in China.

Ms. Oksana Cherkasova, acting head of International Office of VolSU, highlights that the cooperation with Chinese researchers and businessmen is one of the most promising directions of Russian-Chinese scientific and technical cooperation. Our University highly appreciate our academic partnership with both Jilin University and Zaozhuang University, and are open to new projects in the field of advanced manufacturing technologies.
