Activists of the Proryv Volunteer Center of Volgograd State University became the participants of the Volunteer Mobility Program for the FORMULA 1 VTB Russian GRAND PRIX 2020.

On September 25 – 27, Sochi hosted the traditional Russian stage of FORMULA 1 racing. 100 best volunteers from all over Russia went to Sochi to help coordinate and inform the audience as well as help in the work of the ticket and accreditation centers and the media. Students of VolSU were also among them. Annually our University volunteers participate in the organization of major events.

VolSU volunteers helped at "Spectator Services", "Protocol" and "Ticket program" Functions. Some of them even got the opportunity to take positions of team leaders.

The Volunteer Mobility Program is a project that allows the best volunteers of the Russian Federation to participate in major sports, cultural and other events as well as to organize training internships in Russia and in foreign countries in order to transfer experience in supporting civil initiatives. The Project coordinator is the Association of Volunteer Centers. Candidates who have successfully passed the selection for the Volunteer Mobility Program are provided with accommodation and transfer.
